Cottontails Gift Wrapping Service
We offer a gift wrapping service for £3 per parcel for most of our toys (apart from the really huge ones!)
We use beautiful UK made fairy tale wrapping paper, Maileg cotton ribbon and our very own Cottontails letter pressed gift tags where we hand write your personal message.
If you would like to have your purchase gift wrapped, simply select the 'with gift wrapping' option as you add an item to your basket. You will be asked to enter a gift message as you checkout. Don't worry if you are sending the parcel directly to the recipient - where gift wrapping has been chosen along with a separate delivery address we will include a gift receipt so no prices will be included in the parcel.
Delivery Cost and Services
UK Delivery - £3.50
Orders over £50 - FREE
Most UK orders are sent by Interlink next day delivery or Royal Mail First Class post.
We have been using Interlink since 2010 and are delighted with their level of service. All couriers have their ups and downs, but on the whole we find them to be reliable, friendly and accommodating - and they send an email on the morning of your delivery with a one hour time slot which you can amend.
Sometimes we opt to use Royal Mail First Class post instead (for example, for lighter parcels, off shore post codes or if we are sending on a Friday - that way you are likely to receive your parcel on the Saturday morning rather than having to wait until the Monday)
Basically we try to be as helpful as possible, and to send each parcel in the best and speediest way.
UK Next Day Delivery - £5.95
Using Interlink and First Class post as we do, our parcels are usually delivered within a couple of days, but if your order is really urgent (we know how it is with late birthday present ordering!) please select the UK Next Day Delivery service - we will pull out all the stops and guarantee delivery for the next working day. Please online before 1pm (we can usually offer this service later in the day too, but please telephone or email to make sure).
Please note that we do not despatch parcels over the weekend - orders placed late Friday, Saturday and Sunday will usually be sent the following Monday.
Europe (including Republic of Ireland) - £5.50
All parcels to Europe (including Republic of Ireland) are send via Royal Mail Airmail Small Packet service. Average delivery times are 3 days for Ireland and Western Europe, and 1-2 weeks for further afield destinations.
US, Austrailia and the rest of the world - £7.50
We are happy to send parcels all over the world! We use Royal Mail Airmail Small Packet service and average delivery times are one to two weeks.
We regret we are unable to send heavier / bulkier items overseas due to cost / risk of damage. Where this is the case it is clearly indicated on the individual product pages. On saying this, it is sometimes possible for us to provide a special one-off service with extra packaging etc, so if there is something you really want that is not normally available to your part of the world, it is worth sending us an email to ask if there is anything we can do. Ask nicely and you never know!
How to order
You can order online by adding items to your basket, proceeding to the checkout and paying with your credit / debit card details via secure SagePay online payments. SagePay accepts payments from any major debit / credit card or through PayPal.
Alternatively you can telephone Cottontails on 01885 490832 and place your order over the phone. You can then pay with your credit / debit card over the telephone, or arrange to send us a cheque. We are a small company so if there is nobody able to take your call right away please leave us a message and someone will get back to you very soon. Also please say if you would prefer a call back in the evening or at the weekend - we work all hours!
Returns
We want you to be delighted with you purchase and if for any reason you are not satisfied, we will gladly offer a refund or exchange. Please return in unused condition within 7 days. We recommend that you send returns via registered post and keep your “proof of postage certificate’ as Cottontails cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in post. We regret we cannot refund any postage charges incurred if you have changed your mind about your purchases.
Please note that our returns policy does not apply to any 'special order' items that we have obtained especially for you.
If you find goods to be faulty on arrival please notify us immediately and we will offer a full refund or replacement.
